We engineer software that works in the real world
From web platforms and mobile apps to custom software and complex integrations, we design, build and improve technology around the people who use it and the systems it must work with.
What we build
Web platforms
Customer portals, marketplaces, booking and workflow systems, internal tools, and the APIs and infrastructure behind them.
Mobile applications
Native iOS and Android and cross-platform builds, taken through store submission, with ongoing maintenance available where required.
Custom software
The system that does not come off the shelf, and the integration work that connects it to the systems that do.
Product design
Interface and experience design as part of a build rather than sold as a separate line. Research, prototypes, design system, handover.
Distributed & cryptographic systems
High-assurance distributed systems and cryptographic engineering. Tokenisation, smart contracts and chain work have their own practice.
Cloud & modernisation
Migration, re-platforming and the unglamorous legacy work that most of the market quietly avoids.
AR / VR & immersive applications
Immersive software for training, visualisation, interactive products and spatial experiences, engineered around the use case.
What AI actually does to the cost of a build
Every agency is now claiming AI makes them dramatically faster. The published evidence is more specific than that, and more useful to you.
Gains run at roughly 35 to 40% on straightforward greenfield work and 10% or less on complex legacy code.
So we quote on which of those your project actually is. A new product gets the greenfield price. An estate built twelve years ago does not, and any supplier promising otherwise will find the difference in your change requests.
DORA 2026 and METR, 2025–2026
A defined outcome, a fixed price and a date. Best when you know what you want built.
A standing team against a roadmap and a quarterly outcome, not a headcount you manage. Best when the destination will move.
If you want us to remain involved after delivery, we can provide ongoing support, maintenance and improvement under an agreed support arrangement. One arrangement covers the conventional software and any AI we built into it.
We do not sell developers by the day. If what you want is bodies on a timesheet, we are the wrong supplier and we will say so on the first call.
Build is one of our four services
Automate, Decentralise and Run are the other three.
BUILD
Software built or rebuilt
New platforms, products and apps, plus the modernisation of systems you already run.
AUTOMATE
AI put to work
Agents and workflow automation for manual processes, and AI inside products that already exist.
DECENTRALISE
Blockchain where it earns its place
A specialist tool, not a default answer. Tokenisation, smart contracts, dApps and wallets.
RUN
Keep your product performing
Optional ongoing support, maintenance and improvement to keep your product reliable, secure and performing as intended.
Ongoing support when you need it
Where you want us to remain involved after delivery, one support arrangement can cover the software and any AI capability within it. The team that wrote the code is the team that evaluates it, monitors it and keeps it inside the boundaries you set. Where a customer or a regulator wants formal governance around the AI, Pixelette Certified can scope the requirement and support the route to independent assessment.
- 01Fixed-scope build
The platform, the app, the integration
- 02Support & Continuous Improvement
Optional. Ongoing support, maintenance and improvement if you want it
- 03AI added to a process inside it
Baselined first, so the change is measurable
- 04Evaluation and monitoring
Evaluation, drift, cost and incidents, reported monthly
“The deliverables were there on time and at high quality!”
“We couldn’t ask for a more professional service.”

Questions worth answering
Does AI really make a software build cheaper?
It depends entirely on the codebase. Published evidence puts gains at roughly 35 to 40% on straightforward greenfield work and 10% or less on complex legacy code. Pixelette quotes on which of those a project actually is: a new product gets the greenfield price, an estate built twelve years ago does not.
How does Pixelette Technologies price a build?
We use two commercial models. For a clearly defined project, we agree the scope, outcome, price and delivery date upfront. For products that need to evolve over time, we provide a dedicated product team working to an agreed roadmap and quarterly outcomes. After delivery, ongoing support is optional and can cover the software and any AI within it. We price around what needs to be delivered, rather than selling developers by the day.
What happens after the build ships?
A typical path runs fixed-scope build, then, if you want us to stay involved, an optional support arrangement, then AI added to a process inside it, baselined first so the change is measurable, then evaluation and monitoring reported on drift, cost and incidents.
Have something you need built?
Tell us what it is and what it has to do. We will tell you whether it is a fixed-scope build or a product team, and roughly what it costs, before anyone books a workshop.
