Facebook is giving clients more authority over their experience on the site with changes to post remarks and newsfeed channels.
The updates reported today will permit clients to:
- Control who can comment on their posts
- Filter their newsfeed to see the more pertinent substance
- Study why a suggested post is getting appeared in their newsfeed

Restricted Comments on Posts
Facebook users would now be able to confine comments on their public posts. This should either be possible at the record level or on singular posts.
Users can choose who is permitted to comment on their posts from the accompanying alternatives:
- Public (everybody)
- Individuals and Pages referenced in the post
Clients can restrict comment on open posts by following the means underneath:
- Go to the public post on your profile that you need to change who can comment on it.
- Snap the three-dab menu symbol in the upper right of the post.
- Snap Who can remark on your post?
- Select who is permitted to comment on your public post from any of the three crowds recorded previously.
If an individual or site hits your post and doesn’t have a place with your chose remark crowd, they won’t see the remark button underneath the post.
News channel Filters
Facebook is making existing news channel channels more noticeable to give clients more noteworthy authority over what they see when they open the application or site.
Another menu at the highest point of the news source, called the Feed Filter Bar, gives clients snappy admittance to the ‘Top choices’ and ‘Latest’ channels.
Top recent Filters
The Favorites channel is an apparatus that permits clients to focus on content from up to 30 hand-picked profiles and pages.
Posts from those records will seem higher in the algorithmic newsfeed and can be seen on their own when the channel is applied.
